Job Title: Wellness Nurse LPN / RN
Employment Type: Part Time Evenings with weekend availability
Salary Range: $35-$40/hour
Department: Wellness Resident Care

Position Summary:
The Wellness Nurse (RN or LPN) plays a crucial role in delivering quality Resident Care Services. You will support the Resident Services Director in overseeing the implementation and coordination of care, working in a nurturing and engaging environment.

Essential Duties:

  • Supervise and guide Resident Services Department staff, including C.N.A.s.
  • Assist with the medication program, including supporting residents in self-administration.
  • Maintain effective communication and positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Report any significant changes in residents' conditions to the Executive Director/Resident Services Director.
  • Participate in resident assessments and contribute to service plan development.
  • Conduct clinical assessments as required.
  • Assist in hiring and managing staff performance.
  • Help train and orient new associates.
  • Attend in-service training and departmental meetings regularly.
  • Assist in scheduling and staffing tasks for Resident Services Assistants.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to staff as needed.
  • Support residents and their families to ensure high satisfaction in care services.
  • Oversee RSA staff during care provision protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold an RN or LPN license in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Experience working in assisted living or long-term care settings.
  • Current Basic First Aid and CPR certification.
  • A genuine passion for working with seniors and enhancing their quality of life.
