JOB REQUIREMENTS: Our client is looking for a Salesforce Developer. The

client is partnering with the Office of Online Learning & Professional Learning Resources (OPLR) group to consolidate two Student Information Systems used by OPLR into a single solution. They are consolidating an internally developed Oracle DBMS based solution and an existing Salesforce solution into a single solution based on the existing Salesforce solution. The project will include build out of business functionality, transitioning system and data integration processes, and data migration of data from the Oracle based system to Salesforce. This position is responsible for analysis, design, development, and implementation of enterprise system integrations and development work. An ideal candidate will be a software developer who is capable of performing a wide range of software lifecycle tasks including design, coding, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and user support within the organization\'s existing Salesforce environment. Tasks Design and develop applications, Flows, APIs, reports, dashboards, screen layout, and integrations in the existing Salesforce environment. Perform analysis to ensure business functionality, data security, application design, and optimal performance requirements are satisfied. Collaborate with project teams to estimate work effort and/or time requirements to complete development of specific requirements Develop and execute software testing plans to support migrations and implementation of changes to existing applications and infrastructure systems Create and maintain documentation as appropriate for code, applications, and processes Work with project teams to create estimates of work effort and/or time required to complete development of specific requirements Prepare required software installation instructions and documentation Manage migration of data and applications to new systems and platforms, verifying all data is migrated properly and applications are properly initialized prior to implementation Creating complex reports, interfaces, enhancing applications and performing quality control of new applications / processes Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with team, stakeholders, and users as needed. NOTE: Must be a WI Resident or willing to relocate. Position is hybrid. With preference for employee to attend on site planning events. Events on site will be every two weeks. Location: Madison, WI (Hybrid) Contract: 1 years \*\** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Skills Required: 10 years - Salesforce development experience 3+ years - APEX 3+ years - Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) 3+ years - Visualforce framework experience 3+ years - Salesforce CLI experience 3+ years - Design experience within Salesforce to develop/build Flows, APIs, reporting, dashboards, screen layouts, and integrations. 3+ years - Analytical experience to build solutions that integrate proper data security design, performance optimization, and common standards. 2+ years - Git experience in managing code - branch/merging code bases Knowledge of systems analysis, technical documentation techniques, monitoring tools/techniques, and reporting/analytics techniques. Knowledge of design, development and implementation tools and techniques for integrating enterprise applications, including web services and other integration architectures. Bachelors Degree (Please include on your resume) Skills Desired A plus to have: 1+ years - Experience with Salesforce Educational Data Architecture (EDA) 1+ years - Experience working in Jira or an equivalent system to track work assignments and manage workload. SQL development experience in Oracle DBMS, SQL Lite, or general SQL knowledge. Salesforce MarketingCloud experience. Extensive experience working in enterprise systems in the higher education environment.
